Improvements to our title sequence

From the feedback we got from the class we knew that there was a few aspects of our title sequence that needed changing and improving.

Firstly we decided to edit all of our clips together before adding in the titles. We done this by fading each clip into one another to create a soft subtle affect.

Then we decided that the clip was far too long which meant it seemed really repetitive and dragged out. To over come this we cut out a few of the clips in the sequence that we didn’t think looked right like the close ups of the eyes. We decided to cut them out because they were really out of focus. Also we cut some clips out because they were unstable and really blurry. This was one of the main issues we got from the feed back from the class.

To over come the issue of our title sequence being too long we also decided to layer some of the clips in our sequence over each other, which meant that we were able to keep all the clips we thought were good in our work.  We done this by changing the opacity of one of clips so they became somewhat transparent which allows you to still see both of the clips at once.

Another issue we got from the feed back was people in our class thought the clock layered over the top needed to be slightly more faded. So we changed the opacity of this so it was meaning you could see the clip behind it more clearly.

After we had made all of these improvements we then added in the titles.  This was done by downloading the font we chose into final cut pro and editing things such as size and color. We also typed in the text we needed to be in our sequence and it automatically changed it in to our chosen font. We then layered it over the clips, positioning it in the middle to it was center of attention and clear to read.
